Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries whole or slices
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or Skyr or plant-based Greek style yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup agave or honey
  • 1-2 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  • Place the frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, and sweetener of your choice into a high-speed blender.
  • Begin blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. If needed, add 1-2 tablespoons of cold water to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the blended smoothie into a bowl.
  • Enhance the bowl by adding your preferred toppings. I topped mine with fresh strawberry slices, granola, and mini chocolate chips.
  • Retrieve a spoon and savor your delicious creation!

Notes

Make sure that your strawberries are frozen solid and all other ingredients are cold.
Don't swap Greek yogurt with regular plain yogurt (it's not thick enough).
Add water only if you need it. I find that 1-2 tablespoons of cold water helps my blender puree the strawberries.
Don't overprocess.  Turn the blender off when the smoothie mixture is blended into soft-serve ice-cream consistency.
